Fahari hotel is a privately owned hotel which started as a small restaurant by the name Fahari Gardens restaurant on the day of 2nd August 2007. By the time the restaurant was being licensed, the person registering it wrote- Fahari Health club.‘Fahari’ is a Swahili word meaning “a quality that outshines the usual-prestige and grandeur’. The name came about from one of the directors’ love for unique and executive Swahili names.
Fahari Hotel became Fahari Gardens hotel in the year 2009. This emanated from the lavish green gardens with palm trees. One of the directors had a vision of starting a catering company by the name Fahari caterers services. However, the business did not take of due to unavoidable circumstances. Later on, when land was found in Utawala, this gave the directors motivation to start the hotel.
