La Lanterne is a unique, independent boutique hotel, stylish yet friendly and inviting. Every single object, such as the two oval windows rescued from a grand Parisian residence or famous Latin Quarter posters, has been lovingly sought out in antique shops.
The high quality material used speaks both of elegance and comfort with here and there some splashes of bright colors snuggling into a universe of quieter, neutral shades… away from the hustle and bustle of city life, tucked away in a private garden where guests can relax away from it all.
After some interesting sight-seeing, a lengthy stroll around Paris or a hard day’s work, head for the indoor pool and the Turkish bath and then try the sensorial shower. Step into the spa area, down a few steps, through the archway admiring the interplay of light and mirrors and leave your cares behind.
The rooms and the Suite are comfortable, modern and elegant, with the lanterns hanging on each side of the bed giving out a gentle glow, the clean, unfussy lines of the furniture, the warm colours, a thick, soft bedcover and huge mirrors, not to mention the photos of Paris taken by Nicolas Sénégas.

Lovely Parisienne ladies helping you with your choices of croissant. Always smiling and you should try every croissant in this Boulangerie . Perfect Flavours and smell of butter . Try it.
Excellent french-tapas style dishes! Everything we ordered was great. Get the croquettes and the gnocchi. Vanilla caramel cream for dessert. Impeccable service :)
Such a neighborhood gem - beautiful interior, delicious pourover coffee & baked goods and a friendly, quick-to-banter staff. Would I come back to Paris for it? There's a chance!
It was originally built as a church and to house the reliquary châsse containing her relics, now functions as a secular mausoleum containing the remains of distinguished French citizens.
The view from the top of Notre Dame is breathtaking, and definitely worth the 402 steps it takes to get there (no elevators)! Make sure to check out the gargoyles and make the most of the free entry!
This beautiful garden should not be missed. Come here for a bit of relaxation and some sightseeing as well. The original Statue of Liberty is here, as well as a number of wonderful fountains.
