The façade, listed as a “Historical Monument”, its sumptuous staircase surmounted with a“Trompe l’Oeil” ceiling, drawings of Percier & Fontaine, architects of the emperor Napoleon 1st.

Close to the centre of Saumur, the hotel Anne D'Anjou is overlooking the river and has a view of the chateau above.

All of the rooms offer a satellite TV and views of the Loire River and of the chateau. Five of these rooms still have their original decor (Louis XVI, Restoration, Empire periods). Rooms with views of the river or castle are available upon request.

The swimming pool is heated from april to october.
