Elia is a little piece of heaven; a tranquil environment amongst lush tropical gardens with a friendly but non intrusive staff working in the background. Guests feel at home and we have very relaxed atmosphere throughout. We have a great local chef, Takis, and serve a home cooked Cretan meal every evening using fresh local produce. There are many walks surrounding the hotel with two footpaths leading to walks of up to 10km around the olive groves and through the local villages, and with the newly renovated pool and spa to come back to, as well as a delicious fresh salad and ice cold beer, there are many reasons to walk them! We can also assist with walks throughout the region and as well as suggest scenic drives, organise bicycle, motor boat and car hire and even a ride on the beach. All rooms are very individual with lots of character and regardless of the category of the room, the comforts are the same. We serve a buffet breakfast in the morning consisting of local produce, homemade pies, cakes and lots of fresh fruit, washed down with fresh orange juice and best of all we will give you breakfast whatever time you get up - you are on holiday after all!!

Each of the guest rooms of this 200 year old Venetian house has its own character and is decorated with antique furniture and objects of art.
