Heritance Tea Factory is nested in the mountain range that is considered the birthplace of the world’s best tea. The original tea factory was constructed in the days of British Raj.
The 54 cosy, carpeted bedrooms come with bathtubs showers in heating for when the mists close in. Our main restaurant, we offer the unusual experience of dining in a 1930s narrow-gauge railway carriage. In addition to finding out about the local wildlife and community on our nature treks, you have the chance to pick your own tea and have it processed in our Mini Tea Factory, so you can take a little piece of Sri Lanka home with you.

Heritance Tea Factory Offers you the ultimate colonial- style stay experience enhanced by the tea plantation and the misty mountains. Located 2.5 hours away from the hill capital, Kandy, the hotel offers discounted transfer facilities for the guests coming to view the Kandy perahara.
