The Rusty Parrot is a paradox: A family-run 32-room lodge that's one of the top small luxury hotels in the world. It caters to the traveler—not the tourist. Even the name is surprising—parrots aren't the first animals that come to mind when you think of Wyoming wildlife! The story of how the Rusty Parrot got its name has evolved into a campfire tale. The only way to get the real story is from Ron Harrison, the owner. When you stay at the lodge, you can see the Parrot behind the front desk…and get Ron to tell you the real story.
This lodge is located in Jackson, Wyoming and features a full-service spa and hot tub. The Wild Sage restaurant serves local flavors and guest rooms include satellite TV and free Wi-Fi.
Each room at The Rusty Parrot Lodge provides a flat-screen TV. Deluxe amenities, bathrobes and slippers are available in the bathrooms along with dual vanity sinks.
Guests can receive massages at the Body Sage spa. Skin therapy and other beauty treatments are also available.
The Rusty Parrot Lodge and Spa is nearby whitewater rafting, fly fishing and kayaking. The lodge is 8.1 km from the Grand Teton National Forest and 20 km from Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.
Fantastic contemporary American cuisine set in a beautiful rustic Western lodge. Plenty of fresh seafood and game dishes and well-inspired fare. Call ahead for reservations during the high season
This place has the best coffee in JH. They consistently made a great cup, while coffee at other places tasted muddy or watered down. Plus their breakfast sandwich is delish!
Snake River Brewing has just begun the Foursquare application...so keep your ears out for deals and stuff! Hey, we're trying to keep up with all this social media stuff but drinking gets in the way!
Better Eggs Benedict and corned beef hash than anything I've had in NYC. Price point is the same (no eyeballs popping at the sight of $16 eggs!) but service is awesome and everyone is so damn nice!
Room is nice, great wifi, powerful shower, Milton brown products, good breakfast. Not overly friendly front desk but can't fault the hotel. Free shuttle into the town too.
