My name is Esther Provoyeur – and it is with great pleasure that I will welcome you to the Devonvale Golf & Wine Estate..

The Provoyeur family has played a major part in building this estate and takes pride in the progress we have made over the past few years.

We are especially proud of our Guest Lodge which has been voted as the best Four Star Hotel in South Africa for the year 2015.

Unlike the larger estates in the winelands Devonvale offers a warm family environment with an added sophistication.

Combining uninterrupted views of the Simonsberg Mountains, a 18-hole championship golf course and locally produced red wines, this resort is set among the naturally beautiful hills of Bottelary Valley.

Guests at Devondale Golf & Wine Estate can choose between contemporary guest rooms, 2-floor villas and self-catering apartments. Most of the units come with a pergola-covered patio or a panoramic balcony.

À la carte delicacies and views of the putting green can be enjoyed at the restaurant, along with a bottle of Provoyeur wine. The common patio is equipped with braai facilities to prepare an open-air grilled meal.

The outdoor pool is surrounded by a stone deck and palms. Mountain biking tours and fly fishing opportunities can be found in the countryside around Stellenbosch, about 5 minutes’ drive away.
