After its opening in 1966 the Tyrol Hotel set new standards for the valley – in comfort, in aesthetics and in elegance. The hotel was built in the traditional Gardena style in which wood, being a natural and traditional building material and design element, plays a main role.
Elegance, warmth, finesse in all rooms: elaborately decorated solid wood at the entrance, in the halls and lounges, precious stones and mosaics in the spa area, elegantly designed outdoor patios and surrounding grounds. Lots of space for body and soul.

Featuring a free wellness centre and traditional restaurant, Hotel Tyrol lies in Selva di Val Gardena, with direct access to the ski slopes. All Alpine-style rooms include satellite TV and a balcony.

At the Tyrol Spa, you can relax in the indoor pool, hot tub and Turkish bath. There is a fully equipped gym, and beauty treatments are available on request.

Rooms have carpeted or parquet floors and light-coloured wooden furnishings. Each includes a private bathroom complete with soft bathrobes. Some rooms offer lovely views of the Sella Mountains.

Breakfast is a varied buffet, with cakes, cold meats and cheeses. The restaurant serves both local and national cuisine, with selected South Tirol specialities.

The hotel is 28 km from the A22 Motorway and a 50-minute drive from Bolzano. Outdoor parking is free, and a winter garage is available at extra cost.
