Offering panoramic views of the mountains and set in the heart of Valdaora, family-run Landhotel Tharerwirt offers a free spa with pool, free mountain bikes and a restaurant. Its traditional rooms have a furnished balcony.

Featuring cold cuts, cheese and scrambled or sunny side up eggs accompanied by jams and homemade cakes, breakfast is also be served outside. The restaurant proposes quality South Tyrol and Mediterranean recipes for lunch and dinner.

Rooms have natural wood furniture, carpeted or parquet floors and a fully equipped bathroom with shower. Facing the garden and either the street or the mountains, each room offers an LCD satellite TV.

BBQ evenings are held once a week in the 600-m2 garden with sun loungers, parasols and playground. The spa includes 2 saunas, a Kneipp bath and hot tub together with a solarium and sensory shower. Massages are bookable in the afternoon and a small gym is also available.

Favoured by fishing enthusiasts, Lake Anterselva is 20 km from the hotel while a 3-hole golf club is 100 metres away.

Guests can book horseback tours and both English and Western-style riding lessons at the Tharerhof horse stables, which are under the same ownership and are 200 metres away. The Plan de Corones slopes are reached by the ski bus leaving right outside every 15 minutes.
