Welcome to Woodhouse Mountain Lodge on the Kourawhero Estate, your home away from home in a paradise-like setting. Set high above surrounding land, privacy is guaranteed, with views extending as far as the Hauraki Gulf.

Woodhouse Mountain Lodge sits at the top of a valley, on a large private estate with a forest. Parts of the estate are designated as areas of 'Outstanding Natural Landscape'.

Our private villas are well appointed and set amidst luscious gardens planted with exotics and mature natives and our lofty mountain top vista offers space to breathe and unwind, whether it is relaxing on the verandah with a refreshing drink or seeking solitude and peace amongst the grounds. The suites have a wonderful sense of space with lofted ceilings, huge windows and uncluttered style. Accommodation is spread across the property, ensuring you maximum privacy.

At the centre of Woodhouse Mountain Lodge is the main lodge, which offers 3 dining areas and a comfortable guest lounge, snug library and lounge bar. It provides a year-round welcoming atmosphere with 4 large open fires and wide verandahs.

The lodge also has a Sanarium, tennis courts, and an outdoor swimming pool with sun deck and hot tub.

The business centre allows you to catch up on work if you need to.
