Gooderson Monks Cowl Golf Resort’s 9 hole, 18 tee golf course is certainly one of the most scenic with views of the magnificent Champagne Valley – including Monks Cowl itself, which is between the towering Champagne Castle and Cathkin Mountains and took on its name because it resembles a cleric’s attire from every tee. This view is unique among all Drakensberg resorts that form part of the Central Berg Accommodation.
We have 33 superior hotel rooms either mountain or dam facing with 2 double beds, air conditioning, DSTV, tea and coffee making facilities, mini bar fridge and private patio. 1 executive suite with a king size bed with double shower, Jacuzzi bath, air conditioning, DSTV, tea and coffee making facilities, mini bar fridge and private patio. Featuring a 9-hole golf course, Gooderson Monks Cowl Golf Resort also offers an outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, and a restaurant and pub. It is situated in the Central Drakensberg region.

The spacious rooms all come with satellite TV and tea-and-coffee making facilities. Each en suite bathroom is equipped with a bath, shower and complimentary toiletries.

Guests are free to use the swimming pool and tennis courts. They can also enjoy meals in the restaurant and pub, which features a log fireplace in the winter. A function room is also available for conferences and events.
